Sent to Middlesbrough Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 961621.
Traffic constantly missing the green light at the traffic lights on Newport Road. Cars stop too close to the lights and cannot easily see them change. Angry beeping of car horns distracting business in the area. Planned student accommodation will also be affected. Move stop line further back or move lights.

Someone wearing council outfit literally twisted the traffic light a coupon degrees towards the traffic. The lights are in the wrong place to start with and most people cannot see the lights due to being to close or even past the stop line or the A pillar of the car blocks the view. White lines are still not really properly visible.
