Thank you for your enquiry. Works have been raised, estimated to be completed within 28 days to remove the dead tree. In line with Policy 4 of the Council’s Tree Management Strategy, the Council will seek to plant a replacement tree where one has been removed. This is subject to the ongoing viability of the location, including factors such as site constraints, underground services and species suitability, as well as the availability of resources at the time of planting. Where viable, replacement planting is typically undertaken within the following two planting seasons which are generally between November and March, and requests are therefore considered and scheduled within this seasonal programme rather than on an immediate basis.
