Toxic Species on Jumpers Lane

Berkeley Flood Warden - section of Berkeley Pill/Doverte Brook from the High Street bridge to almost the point where the Little Avon joins the Pill. As in previous years there is a small patch of Japanese Knotweed just downstream from Salt House and patches of Himalayan/Indian Balsam.
I am writing now because there is also flowering Giant Hogweed, another notifiable invasive plant that is highly toxic (causes serious skin and eye damage especially with sun exposure), on both banks along almost all this stretch of the Pill. More worrying, there are Giant Hogweed plants within arms length of the public footpath on the north bank - a footpath that is walked by many people with children and dogs off leads. It is particularly close along the stretch of the footpath that goes from the bottom of Stock Lane to the Lynch childrens' playground. I've attached photographs that have location tags.
I'm wondering if, at the very least, notices could be put up along Jumpers Lane and the footpath informing people about this Giant Hogweed, that it is not cow parsley as many people believe, that it is highly toxic and that it can cause severe burning and blistering etc

If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
An update on the issue will be provided.
