Excess speed along Jane Morbey Road
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9568772.
The 20mph speed limit is being regularly broken by cars, motorbikes and HGV's - especially those accessing the industrial units at the end of the road. HGV's access the site from 5am onwards and cause the house to shake. I am concerned that the speed at which some people drive along this rood, and due to the high number of parked vehicles, a pedestrian is at risk of being knocked over whilst crossing to access the Phoenix Trail.

Speeding is becoming an increasing concern in many places within Oxfordshire and we work closely with Thames Valley Police (TVP) to try and address this and other traffic safety issues. Speeding concerns can also be reported direct to the Police, as they hold the enforcement powers. Whilst we can consider physical measures to help reduce speeds and increase compliance, we have to balance against other funding highway needs or be funded by third parties such as the Town Council. Any measures would need local Town and County Councillor support.
