Dangerously parked Army trucks
Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 09:48, Sun 14 February 2010
Sent to Chiltern District Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 95666.
On the junction of Fieldway & Hillway there are a number of vehicles dangerously parked along the roadside and on the pathway. There at least 3 old army vehicles, 3 cars, 1 caravan and 4 Cadillac’s all belonging to the one family. These are causing many minor car accidents at the junction. I also fear as it is difficult to walk along the footpath pedestrians are forced to walk in the road. The grass verges all around this area a muddy mess due to the lack of roadside parking spaces without one family taking up so much space.

Nothing has been done about this. I am not the only person who has reported this problem. It has ben going on for many years much to all of the local annoyance. If anything it is getting worse.

I counted yesterday and there are still 9 vehicles owned by the same guy. He has removed one old army truck and a cadillac but has gained another car.

After a huge oil spillage the large trucks were moved, sadly only for 48 hours as they are now all back again.
