Too many potholes to count!!

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 09:15, Friday 5 June 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9565346.

I first reported this on 30 January 2026 under Council ref: ENQ261079004.

Other reports have also been made but still no action.

The whole junction is now like a bridleway.

Reading Andrew Gant's interview on Radio Oxford, "He added that potholes judged to be "dangerous" were being repaired within 24 hours of being reported, with others "then graded by seriousness".

Liz Leffman wrote in our local Charlbury Chronicle that all potholes are expected to be filled by the end of May. This must mean 2027!!!

  • This is incredibly dangerous of A44. There are so many potholes impeding access at a very tricky crossing over a wide area. It is not possible to use both sides of the road.

  • This junction is an absolute disgrace. The road has been broken up here since December 2025, and has still not been repaired. It is in URGENT need of attention.
