This is an ongoing issue which has been raised multiple times, the last being December of which Thames water also attended then and carried out works to clear their lines. The vast amount of waterfall over the last few days has again caused a major flood to my property meaning I am unable to gain access to my front door without wading through 2ft of water as the rain overflow drains are simply just not being cleaned routinely as Bromley council are supposed to do every 6 months at the very latest which causes this issue and is damaging my property. I have had Thames water out today and their report can be accessed with reference number 3384199 which shows the following outcome :- Arrived on site, spoke to cust issue with surface flooding checked surface manhole 9556 clear and flowing, checked gullys all are blocked advised cust it is a council issue, cust happy, sls.
I expect Bromley council to ensure this problem is resolved as a matter of URGENCY so this does not cause extensive damage to my new drive (which was replaced by myself due to the water damaged caused by previous flooding which In turn became a hazard for myself and my children as the paving stones were cracked, uneven and lifting)
