Parking on the RH side (from Ruskin to Crofton Rd)

SGN's road closure of Tubbenden Lane has doubled the traffic using Newstead, and at school run times, the parking on the RH side causes gridlock, especially with the coaches and diverted buses using this route. Parking needs to be suspended on that side ASAP, until Tubbenden re-opens. As well as causing delays for drivers, it is a safety issue - emergency service vehicles would be unable to pass through at peak traffic times.

    SGN have now re-opened Tubbenden Lane.

    If this issue had been raised to SGN in the earlier part of the road closure then they could have looked at parking suspensions at Newstead Avenue.
