Blocked drain

Reported via desktop in the Blocked Drain category anonymously at 15:59, Wednesday 3 June 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9555528.

The drain positioned at the corner of Prince Imperial Road into Wilderness Road at the Memorial End is blocked/filled with a huge amount of silt which has become a solid block. As a consequence the rainwater runs freely into Wilderness Road and causes flooding. Your attention to remedy this would be very much appreciated.

  • Thank you for your report.

The gullies you have highlighted have been inspected and have been confirmed to be in a non-critical location.

For context, ‘critical location’ gullies are those which could contribute to or cause flooding of nearby properties, or significant surface water pooling, where no other drainage assets are able to take the additional flow. In contrast, ‘non-critical location’ gullies are those which would not cause flooding or excessive pooling, and where nearby operational drainage assets can adequately manage the flow.

As there is currently no evidence of an active issue at this location, reactive works will not be instructed.

If you do observe flooding or surface water pooling here, please raise a new report with a photograph and we will be happy to investigate further.
