Tree is damaged problem
Reported in the Tree is damaged category by Gloucestershire County Council at 14:20, Wednesday 3 June 2026
FixMyStreet ref: 9554847.
I’d be grateful for your assistance on this please. I live at Ferndale, Stowfield Road, Lydbook GL17 9NJ. As you can see from the attached photos, I came out this morning to find some large pieces of the trees along the road had been knocked off, with one section hitting my car. The trees are adjacent to the road which I understand is GCC land.
I believe that this was caused by juggernauts, which regularly use this unclassified village road as a short cut between the A40 and the M48. The tree branches are usually too high to be knocked off by cars.
I fear that this is a problem that will only get worse, so would appreciate your help please.
