Subject: Report of Large-Scale Fly-Tipping - Coalpit Road, Batheaston

Dear Enforcement Team,

I am writing to formally report a significant fly-tipping incident on private land located off Coalpit Road in Batheaston.

Location Details: - Street: Coalpit Road, Batheaston - Land Type: Private Land - car park - Precise Position: On Coalpit Road in the car park behind the George and Dragon pub

Description of Waste: The pile consists of an extensive accumulation of mixed commercial and building waste along with appliances. It includes dense grey aggregate rubble sacks, loose construction debris, soil, wood, and plastic tarpaulins. The volume is substantial, occupying roughly 3 parking bays in width, and stands approximately 1.5 meters high.

It may meet the Environment Agency threshold of 20 tonnes signifying a large scale illegal dumping.

Evidence Attached: - Photos are attached, I have more that show the extent of the waste. - Approximate date discovered: June 2026

Please initiate an investigation into the origin of this waste to identify the culprits. Could you also please confirm if the landowner has been identified and notified of their duty to clear it?

I have serious concerns about the environmental and public health implications of this dumping.

It has been there for several months.
