• Hello

  This is an ongoing issue and has been since moving into the property. The water logging happens during the rains. There is significant water logging on the road outside the property and cars are constantly driving through it and splashing our cars, or even us while we are on the drive. The property address is 331 Main Road Westerham TN16 2HP. I woulf lile to attach a video of the extent of the issue but i can only attach photos to this complaint. Please could you rectify the water logging. Please ensure the investigation is during the rains so you can actually witness the damage and inconvenience this is causing us.

• The area has been inspected and it appears that surface water accumulates during periods of heavy rainfall. The water does drain away naturally, although this may take some time depending on the severity of the weather conditions.

  At present, no standing water was observed at the time of inspection. The location will continue to be monitored, and should conditions worsen or the issue become more persistent, further action will be considered.

• Hello

  I strongly disagree with the outcome of this investigation. As stated previously it is unfair that we cannot safely use our driveway during the rainy season. I have numerous videos of the water splashing onto our property disrupting the use of our drive. I have repeatedly asked for a link where these videos can be sent so the severity of the issue can be understood. I wish to take this further as it is completely unacceptable to not be able to use our own driveway safely due to poor road drainage. I will be taking this to the ombudsman if nothing is done about this in 2 weeks. Kind regards Anushka

  We note your concerns regarding surface water outside your property during periods of heavy rainfall. The location has previously been inspected and no standing water was present at the time of attendance. It was noted that any accumulation of surface water drains away naturally following rainfall.

  Your additional comments have been recorded and the site will be kept under review. Should conditions change or evidence indicate that further investigation is required, appropriate action will be considered
