Main body of grass still not cut

Another half term and bank holiday has gone by with kids not able to play on the main flat area of the green in the holidays as the grass remains over grown. An edge cut around and the hills being cut are no good- great if you are a joy rider on a dirt bike but not if you are a kid trying to play football or throwing a ball for a dog. Please could you just cut the main flat area on the green so the field can actually be used
