Again another example of leaves not being cleared in time and allowed to block drains. This floods every time it rains.

Good afternoon,
Thank you for contacting Warrington Borough Council.
The street services teams are currently working on a leaf clearance schedule. The schedule is in place to ensure we regularly clear the leaves in problem areas where we know there may be large volumes of fallen leaves that could cause an issue for pedestrians.
We will notify the street services team of your report and ask that they attend the area to clear the leaves. Please be advised if the area where you are reporting the leaf problem is not on our schedule, it may take up to 20 working days for the area to be cleared.
The case reference number is CRM 748996.
I have also logged the blocked gullies with our highways team.
A highways inspector will aim to inspect this report within the next 10 working days.
Any necessary work which meets our intervention levels will be programmed following this inspection. All works will be prioritised and in some cases may take several weeks to complete.
The case reference number is CRM 748997. It is not always possible for us to provide an update to each case. If you need to contact us regarding this issue please quote this reference number.

The delay in resurfacing Whitbarrow Road both as it runs north from the junction with Brookfield Road and as it runs down to Bridgewater Street in Lymm is a disgrace. For several years now, as repair frequency will show, this has been amongst the worst road surfaces west of Chittagong! Attached are photos taken in a 100 metre stretch from the Brookfield Road junction. Please will you 1. Arrange for urgent repairs 2. Add some urgency to the plan outlined to Councillor Barr to complete the resurface in financial year 2016-17.
