Hazardous substances on road
Reported in the Hazardous spillage on road category anonymously at 14:40, Mon 9 January 2017
Sent to Bromley Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 954745.
As can clearly be seen from the photos taken this afternoon, the hazardous spillages on the road in front of 33 Birchwood Avenue leaked from the vehicle which is regularly parked there are even more hazardous in wet weather and are also being washed into the nearby drain, thereby creating additional hazard and nuisance for those living nearby.

For information the works are pending due to the low temperatures which will freeze and reduce the effectiveness of the applied cleaning liquids

Just wondering when the works advised as pending on 23 January will be carried out?

Perhaps these pending works could be carried out at the same time as those to clean various hazardous spillages from the road and pavement in front of 37 Birchwood Avenue, the alley way and 35 Birchwood Avenue [report reference: 978607 (In progress)]?

We have investigated this report and believe no further action is required at this time. The issue may be below our investigatory levels or may no longer be present. If this problem persists, please provide further comments to the report.
State changed to: No further action

We believe that the issue was not apparent when inspected and photographed by a council operative in yesterday's wet weather conditions, unlike today, as can be seen in the photo. These spillages are hazardous in any weather conditions but particularly when it is wet. Please reinstate the action to clean the road which has been pending since 23 January due to the cold weather then.
