Tree causing endless issues
Reported via mobile in the Tree causing damage/obstruction to pavement or road category by Lydia Higgs at 06:17, Monday 1 June 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9537449.
Tree outside 45 The Triangle, roots destroying the pavement, making pavement increasingly unsafe and hazardous to wheelchair / aid users.
Kerb is stuck out in the road due to the roots, causing a huge hazard to pedestrians and car users.
Tree is overgrown and not maintained. Desperately needs cutting back. Branches / leaves are now into pavement for pedestrians. Hitting electricity lines overhead.
Pavement is absolutely covered in bird poo from tree, dirty and slip hazard. Also ruining the cars that are forced to park here because every other house is a drop kerb with a driveway, so no where else to park.
This has needed desperate attention for years, but continuously ignored even when contacted directly.
In winter large branches are falling (have images) where only the residents are clearing up, could potentially injure someone / cause damage to property.
It's being left, and the damages now are increasingly significant. Desperate to have the correct maintenance if being forced to keep, tree has outgrown this pavement.
