Grass verge needs delittered & cut.

The dominating (allelopathic) rye grass on this verge is now higher in stretched than the 5ft railings. The bases of the three newly planted semi-mature trees are swamped. Birds can't ground feed (as we await the biodiverse arrival of environment-appropriate, swordbilled hummingbirds...). Litter is now getting trapped and buried again- always good for the environment I find. The nettles are back (awaiting tiny tot straying hands) with no compensatory butterflies. The rats are back awaiting the next failed NRS intervention. The railing line is overgrown again, 'naturally', and seeds the pavement, gutters and private gardens opposite.
