Street lamps broken. Area very dark and dangerous. Trips, falls etc.
Thank you for your report, this is logged as a fault on our management system. Currently the temporary policy is for our interim contractor to attend electrical & structural emergencies as a priority, these will be attended within a 24hr period. However, when and if additional resources plus materials are available the contractor has started to carry out repairs to the older outstanding faults these will be grouped by areas for efficiency.
State changed to: Action scheduled

Called OCC. Apparently the contract with the lighting contractor was terminated in April 2016. they are still trying to find a replacement. no immediate plans to fix. This is appalling! With bad weather forecast, this is not great service from the council.

To clarify our original contractor withdrew from the contract early leaving us in a position of no contractor. We do have an interim contractor in place who has been attending structural and electrical emergencies in the first instance. However, when and if additional resources plus materials are available the contractor has started to carry out repairs to the older outstanding faults these will be grouped by areas for efficiency.
