Extreme speeding in Crookston rd (mainly West to East)
Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 17:33, Tue 3 January 2017 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 950884.
Crookston Road has been plagued by speeding motorist especially during rush hour (17:00 - 19:00). This seems to be due to the intention to avoid queuing at the traffic lights on the c/o Westmount & Rochester way. It appears that motorist is trying to use Crookston road as a short-cut in joining the Rochester way on-route to the A2 when there is queuing in Westmount road. This issue has been like this for some time, and there is danger that a child or person/walker could get run over due to some speeding from motorist.

There is still speeding in Crookston road. With the newly laid roud surface there is no more potholes to slow the cars down. Can you look into traffic control speed bumps for example.
