Large square man hole cover is loose and dips in one corner. It's the drain closest to the middle of the road in the picture.

Sent to Norfolk County Council and Norwich City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9501116.

Whenever anyone rides or drives over it the whole metal cover jumps up on one side. It knocked me off my bike. It's also extremely noisy whenever anything drives over it, because the heavy metal moves up and down suddenly, which happens almost all the time. Seems like it should be easily fixed by balancing out what's underneath?

Updates

  • PLEASE HELP (if you haven't already)! If this was Lincolnshire, then Lincolnshire County Council would have been providing prompt, comprehensive, and publicly-available updates to this report, right here on the FixMyStreet website, for everybody to see. Unfortunately, Norfolk County Council don't do that (and they even try to discourage people from actually using FixMyStreet)! Please SIGN THE PETITITION, to urge Norfolk County Council to start collaborating with FixMyStreet, in the same way as Lincolnshire County Council is doing (as well as other places, e.g. Oxfordshire)! PETITION WEB ADDRESS: https://c.org/ Nd7gcrX4Bk (A big thankyou to everybody who has signed the petition so far. We've already got over 380 signatures, but let's keep going, to really make an impact on make Norfolk County Council!)
