  • PLEASE HELP (if you haven't already)! If this was Lincolnshire, then Lincolnshire County Council would have been providing prompt, comprehensive, and publicly-available updates to this report, right here on the FixMyStreet website, for everybody to see. Unfortunately, Norfolk County Council don't do that (and they even try to discourage people from actually using FixMyStreet)! Please SIGN THE PETITITION, to urge Norfolk County Council to start collaborating with FixMyStreet, in the same way as Lincolnshire County Council is doing (as well as other places, e.g. Oxfordshire)! PETITION WEB ADDRESS: https://c.org/ Nd7gcrX4Bk (A big thankyou to everybody who has signed the petition so far. We've already got over 380 signatures, but let's keep going, to really make an impact on make Norfolk County Council!)

  • Message received from Norfolk County Council. This problem did not meet our criteria for repair. We will monitor it as part of routine inspections. Additional officer notes: Thank you for reporting this to Norfolk County Council. Unfortunately, the defect slabs on the footway are outside of our boundary for maintenance. These footways are the responsibility of the Great Yarmouth Borough Council. You can contact them on their website and bring this to their attention for repair.
