Blocked road drain

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 10:42, Fri 30 December 2016

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 4 minutes later

The drain is blocked and water is sitting in the dip, overflowing and heading down the hill. This is icing up at present. It all stems from the broken land drain already reported and left!

  • Just sat with water due to land drain still broken. Tar Mac recently laid coming up and causing dangerous ruts. If they fixed the problem then they would save money. Constantly replacing tar Mac.

  • Works finished. They fixed one section of the broken land drain, left the rest broken so still causing problems 5 meters up from where they worked. The drain they put in is overflowing. Water siting on road, once winter comes this will cause a serious accident as it will freeze and create a large sheet of ice.
