A tree with a dangerous branch overhanging my property
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9486722.
There is a large tree on the highway land behind my property (3 Coburn Gardens). One of the branches is overhanging our garden at a threatening angle and appears to be weakening. It may fail in a high wind and so poses a safety risk. This risk will increase with time.
I would be grateful if the Highways team could inspect the tree and assess whether the branch requires remedial work

Should the issue pose an immediate danger to public safety such as:-
•Objects on the highway network (i.e. a fallen tree)
•Faulty temporary or permanent traffic lights (i.e. stuck on red)
•Exposed cables
•Multiple street lighting faults
•Flooded roads

This report has now been passed to the Highways team for assessment.
If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
