Investigating
Road subsidence now with water leak
Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 08:29, Wednesday 20 May 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9479872.
The road has been subsiding into the verge here for years. The council has failed to address. In the last 24 hours it has subsided more and likely damaged the water pipe supplying drinking water further down the lane. Water is continuously running from underneath the damaged road surface: this road is likely to be dangerous to walk and drive on given its rate of collapse.

The highway subsidence was reported many years ago and again 2024, & again 2025 (sprayed white) nothing done. It is the only access to the properties at end of Coldharbour ... the highway has now subsided SO much through negligence and no action it has now damaged a water supply. Only supply to the properties at the end of Coldharbour. The highway of Coldharbour needs rectifying as it is now becoming an "off roading" experience.
