Overgrown vegitation obscuring new speed limit repeater signs

Reported via desktop in the Hedges category anonymously at 19:25, Tuesday 19 May 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9478476.

The council recently changed the speed limit on this section of road from NSL to 50mph. Not that you would notice if you just use this section. Both sides of the carriagway are so overgrown that only one repeater is visible. There might be one more or 20 more, its imposible to say. You shouldnt need to have X ray vision to be able to see road signs and speed limit enformcent signs. Sort out the vegitation. The huge road junction signs are only visible when you are about 2 metres away.

Plenty of money for safety projects apart from the easy obvious ones like maintaining verges, road markings and cats eyes. Please Do Better.
