Large Bright Sign Placed without Consultation

Today a large sign was put up across the road from my house. There was no consultation with residents in the area. The sign has large bright lettering and describes the Second World War pillbox. The nature of the sign focuses on the construction and use of the pillbox and features a picture of a bren gun and a soldier. The text seems to glorify war rather than reflect the impact of it on Enfield's civilians. Was planning permission granted for this sign?
