Broken fencing
Reported via desktop anonymously at 19:09, Monday 18 May 2026
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and West Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9472487.
A length of fencing protecting the drainage ditch adjacent to the footpath leading into the Marlborough Estate, has been seriously damaged. Probably vandalism. Study of the enlarged photo shows the splintered timbers which are dangerous. This needs repair urgently in order to prevent accidents or prevent encouraging further damage. Also it is unsightly. The damaged fence is in an area where Marlborough school children congregate whilst awaiting lifts. Only a matter of time fore a child is injured.
