There are no filter lights to turn onto Garscube Rd here, and many people drive onto Hinshaw St from Firhill Rd after the light has turned red. It means crossing the flow of traffic is very hard to do safely, especially given the blind nature of the sharp turn from Firhill Rd onto Garscube Rd.
