2 bollards have both been hit by vehicles

Reported via iOS in the Bollard leaning slightly (less than 20 degrees) category anonymously at 09:48, Thursday 14 May 2026

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9450546.

Bollard outside 2 Old Town - ///slippery.spice.coconuts Bollard outside 1 Old Town - ///infants.inner.openly

Both bollards have been hit by different HGVs and are now loose and rocking - could they both be looked at.

Updates

  • Someone arrived this morning and removed the bollard from outside 2 Old Town - what a shame as it was obviously there for a purpose and was doing its job which was why someone hit it. The bollard was still structurally sound and there was no physical damage to it just that it needed to be reset in the ground.
