• The trees are out side no to the side of Number 1. The large blossom tree is on the right side of the car park entrance by the 1-15 Aylesham road sign and the dead end of the road. Today the grass surrounding these trees has been cut by the council.

  As you can see, these trees are definitely on council land and are not private land. The council always cut the grass on this area. Please rectify this on your systems and complete the work urgently has this has been going on for a while now. The large tree beside the property now has a swarm of bees, there must have been hundreds this morning and they keep coming into my property. Please advise. Thanks

• Thank you for your report, Our contractor has this work in hand. It can take up to five weeks before completion. (Crown lift to 6 M) Council will not prune or remove trees in relation to the following:

  • Branches overhanging property boundaries or buildings. • Lack of light • Where a tree is thought be too tall or large or old • Interference with solar panels or satellite, TV, or other media reception Problems associated with pollen • Excreta caused by insects or birds • Obstruction of the view from house windows, gardens, balconies etc • Branches and/or limbs in physical contact with telephone wires • Leaf fall • Fruit fall • Shedding of small twigs. Nor will we remove leaf and branch debris at the base of a tree which serves to protect roots and protects the tree from lawn mowers, strimmers and dogs
