Holes in public footpath behind multiple gardens
Reported via mobile in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 21:55, Monday 11 May 2026
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9437218.
There are several holes in the public footpath behind the gardens of five houses on Lindsay Drive. The footpath is tarmaced, but there are visible holes and gaps along the fence line where the path meets the garden boundaries. These holes appear to be burrow entrances and are directly touching the fences of the properties. These defects run along the rear boundary of numbers 21-25, and the holes are large enough to allow pest access. Rats have already entered the loft space of my house, and the holes in the footpath appear to be contributing to the problem. As this is a public footpath, I’m reporting it so the council can inspect and repair the damaged areas of tarmac. Photos can be provided if needed.
