Potholes
Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 10:38, Monday 11 May 2026
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9432925.
I am reporting a pothole that has already been raised multiple times and has continued to worsen with no action taken; it now presents a serious safety hazard, and under Section 41 of the Highways Act 1980 the council has a clear duty to maintain the highway in a safe condition, meaning that continued inaction may expose the council to liability for damage or injury, so I am requesting an immediate inspection and for the defect to be marked with white paint as a visible hazard and to demonstrate that the council is aware of it and intends to repair it without further delay, and I ask for confirmation that this will be treated as a priority.
