Dangerous Pothole
Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 10:18, Monday 11 May 2026
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9432730.
The road at Broadway roundabout has deteriorated over several years due to repeated poor‑quality patching and lack of proper maintenance, and it is now uneven, bumpy, and unsafe, with vehicles regularly swerving to avoid damaged sections; this presents a clear road‑safety hazard and appears inconsistent with Oxfordshire County Council’s statutory duty under Section 41 of the Highways Act 1980 to maintain the highway in a safe condition, and given the extent of the decline, further patching would be ineffective — a full resurfacing is now required to restore the road to a safe and legally compliant standard.
