Vegetation and overhanging tree
Reported via mobile in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 08:54, Sunday 10 May 2026
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9427931.
The footpath here is impassable because of an overhanging tree from the nearby house. There are buddleias and other vegetation growing in the pavement verges. This hasn't been looked at since I moved here in 1sr June last year and is getting worse. In fact, the verges of most of Manor Road are becoming severely overgrown.

It is no longer possible to walk on the footpath here due to the overhanging tree from number 181, the bushes on the side of the house, and the buddleia and other vegetation growing in the kerb. Anyone walking along here has to step into the road. I haven't seen anyone actually investigating this.

Thank you for your report. Landowners and occupiers are responsible for maintaining any boundary features on their property that adjoin public highways and affect highway safety. In this case, the highway appears to be impacted, so we will contact the land/property owner. If necessary, further action will be taken.
