Vegetation overgrowing footpath
Reported via mobile in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 06:56, Thursday 7 May 2026
Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9412264.
Vegetation on the shared footpath alongside London Road up to the Browick Road bridge has grown out reducing the path width. It has almost blocked the pedestrian access under the bridge. Also signs have been totally obscured.

PLEASE HELP (if you haven't already)! If this was Lincolnshire, then Lincolnshire County Council would be providing prompt, comprehensive, and publicly-available updates to this report, right here on the FixMyStreet website, for everybody to see. Unfortunately, Norfolk County Council don't do that (and they even try to discourage people from actually using FixMyStreet)! Please SIGN THE PETITITION, to urge Norfolk County Council to start collaborating with FixMyStreet, in the same way as Lincolnshire County Council is doing (as well as other places, e.g. Oxfordshire)! PETITION WEB ADDRESS: https://c.org/ Nd7gcrX4Bk (A big thankyou to everybody who has signed the petition so far. We've already got over 300 signatures, but let's keep going, to really make an impact on make Norfolk County Council!)

The council have decided it is not bad enough to fix even though they recognise the problem. The fact that road and path signs are totally overgrown doesn't seem to matter, might as well remove them as clearly they are not necessary. I got what seemed like an offhand reply from the council because I reported the issue through fix my street and not them directly. Am I surprised? No
