We have investigated this report and found the vehicle to be taxed; a taxed vehicle is a strong indicator of an interested party and therefore the vehicle is not considered to be abandoned at this time and no further action will be taken. You can check the tax status of a vehicle online via: https://www.gov.uk/ check-vehicle-tax. Insurance or MOT issues should be directed to the Police as Bromley do not have the statutory powers to deal with this type of offence.

The vehicle is parked legally and is not causing an obstruction to the flow of traffic. While the vehicle bears information on its’ bodywork, it is advertising a service not advertising the vehicle itself for sale therefore cannot be classed as street trading and essentially falls into the same category of any branded vehicles carrying a company livery. The vehicle is taxed and no further action is planned now.
