Two small manholes at Highworth Rd junction
Reported via desktop in the Pothole category by Dave Headey at 17:55, Wednesday 6 May 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9410684.
Have been surrounded by a rectangular patch about 4m x 2m in the s/bound lane near Highworth Rd junction. Two deep holes have arisen around the edge of this patch where the tarmac has broken up, likely by right-turning traffic. More will follow as the tarmac of the patch has already deteriorated.
This is the last for now of my reports on Coxwell St/Rd which is in need of total resurfacing, conditions are so bad. This is just the southbound lane; the northbound is just as bad but possibly protected by parked cars. This will be a failed urban road and bus route if not dealt with soon.
