England flag has been there for months. It wasn't taken down when the others were. It is intimidating and inappropriate for such a politicised symbol to be left when local elections are about to take place.

The Council is removing paint from the highway, including on mini roundabouts and the like on a priority basis, with potential offensive wording being removed as a priority. The Council is compiling a list of flag locations, with flags where there are safety concerns being prioritised for removal.
