Overgrown hedges and trees

Reported via desktop in the Hedges category anonymously at 12:26, Tuesday 5 May 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9401601.

The road into Tokers green is overgrown with hedges and trees which, due to the minimal passing-places, has led to scratches and damage to cars. On Monday this week there was also a collision of vehicles, with one of them having to mount a verge before hitting the other car. It's really challenging to pass any vehicles without striking branches or trees so the request is that they could be cut back please.

  • This issue is still present, especially at the entrance to Tokers Green lane by shepherds lane / the hedges are thick and branches are falling, meaning both our cars have been scratched, and it’s dangerous to be able to pass
