Constant problem of vans, taxi today parking on pavement outside Londis

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 19:45, Wed 7 December 2016 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxford City Council 5 minutes later

Pavements not passable worth buggy or wheelchair because vans and today a taxi driver reading the paper parked on double yellows, mounting the pavement so you can't walk past. It's dangerous and forces people into the road. Monday - I had to make a van move on and today there was a Taxi driver. It's a common problem and you can find an example everyday. Can you put a bollard in?

Updates

  • Providing bollards at such a location could be more obstructive since they would leave the same width as the vehicles and would not be moveable.

Since the double yellow lines apply to the back of the public highway, vehicles should be reported to OCC parking enforcement contractor on 0845337138
