Tree is damaged problem

Reported in the Tree is damaged category by Gloucestershire County Council at 14:08, Thursday 9 April 2026

FixMyStreet ref: 9383619.

A nearby resident has enquired about when these two trees will be assessed for pollarding.
As you can see, they are on the central reservation on Denmark Road. He is concerned about the height, and also about the ivy which is visible on both of them.
I would appreciate any information on this, as the tree work locally seems very random and locals are enquiring about whether there is a planned programme for management of our trees.

Updates

  • This report has now been passed to the Highways team for assessment.

If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.

In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.

An update on the issue will be provided.

On our website you can find out about planned work to maintain and improve Gloucestershire's streets by visiting www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/highways.
