A Road sign without a light problem has been found

I am currently working on an upgrade to the telecommunications site located at the following address: Esso Garage, Amersham Road, Hazlemere, HP15 7HL. NGR’s: E: 489159 N: 195557 Please could you confirm if it would be possible for the road sign to be relocated? The upgrade proposals for this site include a Terrier cabinet to be deployed adjacent to an existing VMO2 Yorkshire cabinet. There is an existing Highways electrical pillar that will be within 2.6m of the Terrier cabinet, and we have a concern with regards to the touch voltage protection requirements. We would like to move the existing Yorkshire cabinet approx. 700mm West (ish) to accommodate the Terrier cabinet, whilst maintaining the required clearances from the Highways electrical pillar. To do this we would also need to relocate the existing ‘road name’ sign. Physical space is limited but it could possibly be relocated local to the existing highways signage adjacent the kerb line. This has been passed to the Highway Officer to investigate, they will carry out an inspection within the next 10 working days.
All our roads are subject to safety inspections, and this includes identifying any road signs that are badly damaged or degraded so we may already have a job raised to resolve it, if this is the case we will update you that it is a duplicate job/enquiry.
If we were not aware of this issue, we will update you on what action will be taken, this may include adding the road markings to a package of works for the location to be completed at a later date.
There may also be occasions when the issue reported will not be repaired as it has been classified as a minor defect and does not pose any risk to either the safety or the integrity of the highway, these are called minimum recording levels as specified in our Highways Safety Inspection Policy in these cases no action will be taken.
