Concrete bollard

Reported via mobile in the Flytipping category anonymously at 10:16, Thursday 30 April 2026

Sent to Folkestone and Hythe District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9377974.

This concrete bollard has been on the corner of the street on what I believe to be council owned land for approximately 6 months. During this time I have witnessed at least 7 or 8 vehicles hit this obstacle. One of which even dragged it onto the road and damaged the surface of the road. This is causing damage to peoples vehicles also. I am concerned that someone may drag it into the road and not get out to move it back and cause a serious accident. It’s very low down and so hard for people to see whilst pulling out from the side road.

Updates

  • Cars are still hitting this bollard and children have started climbing over it and rolling it around. It needs to be removed asap because someone’s really going to get hurt.
