Piling in bad condition

Reported anonymously at 11:20, Mon 5 December 2016

Received by Buckinghamshire County Council and Chiltern District Council moments later

Piling is presumed to have been used as a stop gap measure to stop the bank falling into the road. The piling is now badly corroded. One section of the piling has already fallen against the bank. The next section(s) could easily fall across the road!

  • Still open, via questionnaire, 19:23, Mon 2 January 2017

  • "Brushed over" by Bucks CC as if not a problem.

Very surprised to be told the matter is now closed.

The inevitable early failure of any of the rotted piles could result in a large piece (s) of steel falling into a narrow road.
