I was offered a 2 bed bungalow in Langford due to my disabilities. I'm single however expect to require carers overnight in the near future due to my degenerative lung disease, Pulmonary Fibrosis. I signed up with the housing agency 7 August 2025. I have a WAV, Wheel Chair Accessible Vehicle and 2 Google Pixel mobile phones, one running Google Maps, the other running Waze App permanently. The latter alone warns audibly of potholes ahead in real time, thankfully or my authorised conversion to a "WAV" vehicle, taxation class disabled, Kia Sedona 3 would have cost me more in replacing shattered multi spoke alloy wheels than in diesel fuel costs seriously! Both Apps recommend a left then right turn from The Elms where my bungalow is. It's a single track road with passing places, the most direct route to an A road (A 361) which runs N. & S. to the best alternative E. & W. A roads e.g. A40, M4 etc. So, since August 7th 2025, I have had to use this long, largely straight, single track road which has been a serious threat for pothole damage or head on collision such that the maximum safe speed for my historic abdominal pains from lymphoma cancer is 15 mph only on a 60 mph speed limited road! Every SatNav ETA is therefore over optimistic whether departing or arriving home! So, for all the last 9 months it has just got worse, as it regularly floods, they become totally invisible! I must rely on Waze App but that warns me of only 2 or 3 the entire length so please fix asap, I'm sure all parents who drive their kids to Langley school right at the Langley end exit would also be extremely grateful ! Please ask them during school drop off/ pick up time✅🎯.
