Very smelly drains in road outside nos.2 & 4 Silver End

This issue comes back repeatedly. I have poured gallons of Jeyes disinfectant down the one outside my house (see pic with blue door) but it is just a temporary fix. There is something wrong.
The problem has only arisen since lots of road works and some very deep holes were dug in the road about two years ago (and ongoing since then) The road s a lumpy patchwork.
