Incomplete works on Whitchurch lane not fenced off

Reported via iOS in the Problem with BCC highway works undertaken category by James Fitzgerald at 12:32, Friday 24 April 2026

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9348233.

Dangerous situation. Zebra crossing is half finished but tactile paving and post in place. This could cause someone to mistakenly believe the zebra crossing is in effect when it is in fact not causing a very high risk of accident.

Tactile paving installed on one side but crossing not fenced off - very likely a person with a vision impairment may think mistakenly that this crossing is in use when it cannot be as it doesn’t meet any standards yet. This needs fencing off urgently before an accident occurs.
