Flydipped Branch Cuttings dumped on grass verge

Reported via desktop in the Grass category anonymously at 12:52, Friday 24 April 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9348199.

As previously reported, significant size branch cuttings have been left dumped on the grass verge on the southern side of Reading Road. This is following work on the telegraph poles and the electric boxes on the poles and area around them clear, so suspect those are the culprits. Please can these be cleared as people do use the verge to walk on as a safe passage on that road, as there is no pavement. Biffa may have been asked to collect, but they have not and more has appeared since. Please can these branches actually be collected so the verge can be cut and it is not blocked for safe passage for pedestrians. Thank you.

  • Branches STILL there. Still preventing the verge from being cut and therefore not providing a safe passage for pedestrians. Honestly, how hard is it to clear up some branches? I would do myself but I don't have appropriate size vehicle, the necessary cutting tools to cut to be able to lift and have to care for a baby.
