Other damage to pavement i.e. cobbles, raised mound/surface problem

Why are dropped kerbs being redone on Beachley Road, in fact one is being redone yet again this morning. There are so many pot holes that need repairing and pavements that are full of holes such as the one on Sedbury Lane along in front of the terrace and stone cottages or the one opposite where the work is being done unnecessarily.
Why replace perfectly good kerbs and ignore all the other problems in our parish?

If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
