Unmaintained verge
Reported via desktop in the Blocking visibility on road/junction category anonymously at 19:06, Thursday 23 April 2026
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9344715.
I have been directed by Stroud council to contact you about the maintenance of the grass verge at the front of my house.
The land/grass at the front of my house, which according to my deeds I don't own, isn't being maintained. The council directed me to you, so would it be possible for you to arrange regular cutting of the grass/weeds please? As it is on a main road I don't feel it is safe to maintain it myself, and seeming as I don't own the land it isn't mine to maintain anyway. As well as aesthetic this is a safety concern as the weeds grow tall and block my view of the road as I am pulling out of my driveway.
Thanks.
